Patient Voice Partners Celebrates Ursula Mann’s Appointment as North America Chief Patient Officer for ISPEP

Toronto, ON — Patient Voice Partners (PVP) is proud to announce that Ursula Mann, Principal, Co-Founder, and Chief Patient Officer of Patient Voice Partners, has been appointed North America Chief Patient Officer (CPO) for the International Society for Patient Engagement Professionals (ISPEP).

In this newly expanded international leadership role, Ursula will support ISPEP’s mission to advance professional development, best practice, and patient centricity across the healthcare ecosystem while continuing to lead her work at Patient Voice Partners and Patient Voice Connect.

ISPEP recently announced a strengthened global leadership team as the organisation enters its next phase of international growth. The expanded team reflects the increasing global recognition of patient engagement as a critical component of healthcare innovation, policy, research, and care delivery.

As North America CPO, Ursula will help ensure patient voices and lived experience remain embedded throughout ISPEP’s educational initiatives, partnerships, governance activities, and global collaborations.

“Patient engagement is no longer optional — it is essential to creating more equitable, effective, and sustainable healthcare systems,” said Ursula Mann. “I’m honoured to support ISPEP’s growing international mission while continuing the important work we lead every day through Patient Voice Partners and Patient Voice Connect. This role creates exciting opportunities to further strengthen global collaboration, elevate professional standards, and amplify meaningful patient partnership across the healthcare ecosystem.”

Through Patient Voice Partners, Ursula has advanced patient-centered healthcare by building multi-stakeholder collaborations involving patients, caregivers, industry, healthcare professionals, researchers, policy leaders, and community organizations. Under her leadership, Patient Voice Partners has become recognized for innovative engagement strategies, patient-informed research, education, advisory initiatives, and health system transformation projects.

“Ursula’s appointment reflects both her deep expertise and her unwavering commitment to elevating lived experience in healthcare,” said Brent Korte, Principal, Patient Voice Partners. “We are incredibly proud to see her leadership recognized on a global stage while she continues to guide and grow the work of Patient Voice Partners.”

ISPEP has rapidly grown into a global not-for-profit community connecting patient engagement professionals, industry leaders, researchers, and patient advocates through education, collaboration, and best practice initiatives. The organisation now reaches more than 3,500 members and followers worldwide.

Patient Voice Partners looks forward to supporting ISPEP’s continued international growth and collaborating to advance patient engagement leadership, education, and innovation globally.
